Drop the warrior, enter into the companion.
The warrior approach to illness, puts us into battle mode. This is a fear based approach, usually with a hefty dose of violence. It shuts down communication of what is trying to be spoken.
The companion approach opens us to listening to what our whole self (physical, emotional, energetic, mental, spiritual) is communicating. It allows us to work in relationship.
This is not to discount feelings of anger, sadness, and fear that often come with illnesses of a chronic nature........ but to open to understanding and partnership with all of self, including the microbes that may be causing our afflictions.
Fighting shuts doors.
Listening opens them.
ALL chronic conditions are patterns and when we open to that, we are able to shift those patterns. It just takes a willingness to open to the possibility of new perspectives.
